PRE-PRODUCTION

16/11/2018 (Week 12)

This week, the assigned groups are planning the dates for their respective video shooting. My group decided to shoot on Week 13. We then decide which role to take part in for this assignment.

Shooting Location

Our shooting location will be at the Taylor's University Underground Staff Parking as the location is suitable for the type of scene & theme we are shooting.

23/11/2018 (Week 13)

This week, we made preparations for our final assignment such as props, and finding actors and actresses who can play the given role in our storyline.

Below here are the slides to our storyline, moodboard, props, etc.

We were then told by our lecturer that we needed to shoot all our scenes in a day, or should I say at night, since we need to follow our storyline & moodboard, & that we only have one shooting location. This would require us to stay at campus from 9 PM til 4 AM.

PRODUCTION

It's shooting day, & the group members have arrived at the parking lot at around 8:30 PM so that we could set up all the lighting needed & also camera equipment.

Around 4 AM, we then finally wrapped it all up after shooting throughout the night. We lose our sleep but it was worth it since we are done with the main part of the shooting.

The next day, we then move on to shoot the last & final scene for our video. This doesn't take long as it only requires one scene & a dialogue.

POST-PRODUCTION

12/12/2018 (Week 16)

After we are done shooting everything we needed, the only last thing to do was post-production. Since we shot a lot of scenes & did a lot of retakes, we separated the videos that we needed into one folder & the rest that we don't need into another. We did the same for the audios as well.

Then, our lecturer told us to make a rough cut of the video, no color correction & no sound effects, & present it to him whenever possible. He wanted to see how long the video was & trim it if its needed. For color correction, Kitty was in charge of it, & Nadia was in charge of Sound Production. We then consult with our Sound Production lecturer to get some feedback or advice on the audios. After everything, I will do some touch ups with the sounds, such as sound effects or sound quality.
